Oh. Em. Gee.
In all seriousness, RTS (real time strategy) games never appealed to me. I don’t know why but they just didn’t. I always liked FPS games and MMORPG’s because you just go in, do your thing and whoop ass. I thought RTS’s are just so much work. Until now.
I received my beta key last week (thank you @gamingangel) for this arcade style MMO and was quite skeptical. I’ve tried a couple of korean based MMO offerings in the past and they barely lasted on my computer for an hour before being uninstalled. Divine Soul seems different.
Yesterday I got my Onlive Founding Members Program invite. (you can sign up here) That’s a free 1 year of service and after that the service is $4.95 per month. So that’s a year to see where this new way to game goes.
Every now and then I like to cruise the Steam Store to see what deals they’re having. A few days ago I came across Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (2009) for $6.97. Sold!
If you have yet to partake in any of the Mass Effect or Mass Effect 2 goodness, today is a good day for you PC gamers.
